THE INSPIRATION
The researcher wished to make merit to the late King Rama IX in October of 2017. The wish was granted in the form of an opportunity to be ordained as a monk in the motherland of Buddhism under the great tree of knowledge within a few days. I was given the Buddhist name “Paneeta Bodhi” after being ordained by Phra Dhamma Bodhi Vongsa, the abbot of Wat Thai Bodhigaya. I had the great fortune of learning from Phra Kru Nikhrot Bun Ya Kon and Phra Kru Udom Bodhivides while I was there. My spirit was overcome with faith as a result of their teachings.
Upon my return to Thailand, I yearned to continue my studies at the doctoral level in the field of Art & Design, with Buddhism as the central focus of my study.
แรงศรัทธาจุดประกายงานวิจัย
ในเดือนตุลาคมปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๖๐ ผู้วิจัยได้ตั้งจิตอธิษฐานต้องการทำบุญถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร เพียงไม่กี่วันคำอธิษฐานก็สัมฤทธิ์ผลโดยได้มีโอกาสไปอุปสมบท ณ แดนพุทธภูมิ ประเทศ อินเดียใต้ต้นพระศรีมหาโพธิ์ มีท่านเจ้าคุณพระธรรมโพธิวงศ์ วีรยุทฺโธ เจ้าอาวาสวัดไทยพุทธคยาเป็นพระอุปัชฌาย์ ได้รับฉายา “ปณีตโพธิ” ระหว่างนั้นได้ศึกษาเรียนรู้ธรรมะจากพระครูนิโครธบุญญากรเจ้าอาวาสวัดไทยนิโครธาราม และพระครูณรงค์ โพธิวิเทศเจ้าอาวาสวัดอโยธยาราชธานี แม้จะเป็นช่วงเวลาอันน้อยนิดที่ได้ครองผ้ากาสาวพัสตร์ แต่ก็เกิดแรงศรัทธาอันท่วมท้น
หลังจากที่ได้กลับมาประเทศไทยผู้วิจัยมีความประสงค์จะศึกษาต่อระดับดุษฎีบัณฑิตในศาสตร์การออกแบบโดยนำพระพุทธศาสนาเป็นขอบเขตในการวิจัย
HYPOTHESIS
Virtual Reality is considered one of the Global Megatrends that may shift the way we live. Will this technology be suitable as a Buddhist learning tool? Will the audience be more mentally engaged with a high satisfaction level yet able to learn Buddhist philosophy more efficiently?
